i dont get how people thought No Country For Old Men was better than this. I just dont see it myself i thought it was boreing and lacklusture compared to There Will Be Blood.

VERY much agreed.

Replace There will be blood with No Country for Old Man and vice versa, and you'll understand why they thought that way.

Does anyone know why the title of the movie is what it is? It is in reference to the wars fought for oil or is it because there is actual blood in the last scene of the movie?

PTA's working title was There Might Be Blood, but later changed it to There Will Be Blood. Basically about the war between Plainview and just about everybody else he upsets. Also Plainview goes to church and begs for the blood, and like you said the final scene there is blood. who knows. Might just have to ask the greatest film maker working today himself.

Most westerns have horses and cowboys and an old settings my friends...and thissssssss...to me at least, but perhaps im hallucinating? or im crazy more likely...kinda, just maybe? lol, looks like a western. Oh, nevermind the horses and cowboy hats in this film, thats has NOTHING to do with westerns.

correction: its a banal movie about a man who likes oil. (sighs heavily at the magnitude of the plot...sooo overwhelming...)
