Oh yeah I remember that whole Ryan Drummond thing with people like Spax, and I agree, I don't think there's been drama over something more silly since.

@tribute2trivium Gigguk is a good example of this style done right in anime reviewing, because unlike Jaded he doesn’t linger on a point for too long, Gigguk keeps up the pace so it doesn’t sound like he’s lecturing us. If I were to be a fanboy of a reviewer, it would probably be JesuOtaku, partly because of the way her rating system works (3 ratings go under the line of recommendation while the other 4 go over) there are more ways to explain how a show is good.

@MagusX1 Well from my point of view there are two kinds of reviewers, informative like the animeoverviewer and cynical/comedy based like yahtzee, I get the feeling jaded is trying to be the latter but if that’s the case he takes himself way too seriously, too the point where he’s not funny, and he brings in the fan based of shows a little too much, so even if he has a valid point it comes across as bashing.
