Donnie breaks down the basics to the footwork used for muay thai when applied in real world combat situations. Pelase note all nak muays: this is not what your muay thai camp is training you, so in their eyes this is wrong. No worries, this footwork helps build speed, and allows for striking while moving, and transitioning for multiple opponent situations. That given, let the comments about being open for counter attacks and reverse arm bars commence! Oh, and the sound quality sucks, I know :p Learn more at http://oldstylemuaythai.com

can you make a tutorial about more mae mai and look mai techniques plz? well, only if you have time...

  • love all of your videos and great pointers and lessons every time.

You guys don't happen to have a sister gym or something like that in the NYC area do you?

  • @whotookdonnierules Haha yeah, we got none up in the pacific NW

  • ah! great video. If you see someone keeping his composure like that in a street fight though you better run away :D:D

  • I know they're movies and all, but it still seems very effective. I guess the downside would be having to master the technique. Being able to make movements based on a brief twitch from an opponent seems a bit risky to me...lol. Anywho, Was just wondering. Also, Your trainer wouldn't happen to be Saekson Janjira would it? If it is I have some of his training vids. The man is a legend and a true master of the art! Anyways, Take care my friend, stay safe and keep up on the awesome work you do!
