PRO GOLFERS BEND THE SHAFT FORWARD AT IMPACT

This distortion is an artifact in CMOS sensor video known as "rolling shutter effect". The lines on the sensor scan top down so that, in this case, the slower moving handle is traced first, and as the faster moving club head is traced a few microseconds later - the shaft has changed position closer to the ball. There is indeed a flexing of the shaft in the direction you see here, but the rolling shutter exaggerates it considerably. Check out the TW slo mo, you won't see this amount of flex.

@247balla34 lol, your shaft bends 3 times as much as sergio because you have a crappy camera, you know that right?

This is camera distortion. look at tiger's club head itself, see the head is even distorted.

"he held it back with the left arm". Haha, I love it when people pretend to know something and are so wrong.

@lin4say i call it controlling the SPEED you swing at
That apparent shaft bend is due the to the way the shutter works on the camera. It's a slot that scans downwards so the pixels at the lower end of the picture are actually captured later that the ones at the top, therefore showing and apparent bend in the shaft.
