Holding the lovebird babies and their pround papa lovebird on day 19

This is video of us holding the lovebird babies for the first time on day 19. I moved into my new place and it disturbed the Momma bird, Houdini so she's not feeding them. The Daddy, Lola, has been feeding them a few times a day but I have officially started handfeeding them in between his feedings. Since the babies are still staying with both parents they have not been very easy to feed. It's definitely been a learning experience, but exciting and rewarding to watch them grow!

No, Lola started plucking his feathers after we moved. It's probably due to stress and we hope they grow back soon! We still love him even without his beautiful tail! :)

Yep, baby Chicken, how cute he was (and still is). Daddy Lola was such a good. Poppa bird and soon enough may once again get to care for more baby "Chicken Littles".
