BassDS Special: Obtaining Jirachi

My friend at school gave me her Sapphire version in exchange for one of the Toys R Us Dragonites I had left over, so I hooked it up to my Colosseum Bouns Disc I had recieved when I preordered Colosseum 5 years ago. To get Jirachi, you need:
1 Nintendo Gamecube
1 GameBoy Advance/SP
1 NGC to GBA link cable
1 copy of either Ruby or Sapphire
and the Bonus Disc

I got real lucky the day I got this. At first I was out of my Pokemon phase and I wasn't interested anymore, but Jirachi pulled me back into it. So when I preordered Colosseum, turns out the disc with Jirachi was the last one they had in stock. I envy Japan though. They got Celebi in their bonus disc, along with a Pikachu, and I think it also gave a spare Master Ball.

One note is that the bonus disc will connect with only Ruby and Sapphire. Connecting with FireRed, LeafGreen and Emerald is impossible, of course with emerald you would think they would change the programing in the cart to communicate with the disc.

can u get jirachi right after you received the pokedex or do you have to beat the champ

@Saroku12 you can get Jirachi from the Colosseum Bonus Disc as soon as you get the Pokedex, but he'll level up like a pokemon you got in a trade, so watch out. If he's too strong, he won't obey you in battle.

@BassDS1990 ah, so with this disc its possible to get as many legit jirachis as you want by restarting the game over and over and trade the jirachi to another gba game?

@BassDS1990 No you can also complete the PAL version of Pokemon channel to obtain a Jirachi for R/S

@Haldir1996 Only way to get Jirachi in Ruby is through the bonus disc. As for Emerald, he has to be traded over.

That is impossible, unless you then have the Japanese version and went to Sky Pillar.

I used to have this disc, made a copy and sold it after dealing Jirachi out to all my games and my friends' games. Didn't feel the need to keep it anymore. Funny how even me, being the huge Nintendo collector I am could doe something like that. Fun to watch the wole "seremony" again though.
