Voted one of the worlds most exciting new inventions, the Martin jetpack wouldnt look out of place in a James Bond film. But lack of funds might prevent it from soaring to new heights.

  • It's noisy and it runs with ordinary gasoline...

    Future? Nope, I m sorry.

A clap for the big effort but still far from cool. Keep working.

Imagine a city full of this super-dooper-noisy jetpacks...you won't be able to have a conversation on the street.

    I'm sorry.

  • What does this have to do with Back To The Future?

  • It's a shame that these brilliant men ultimately sold the technology out to a government. Guess what that means. No more 5,000 foot cruiser jetpack for the consumers. That shit's never going to happen now. Only for military purposes which means less freedom for everyone because we are all consumers. This should have become a great triumph for the people with access to the technology but now it will only be used against people.

  • watch?v=R4FmqkKZtD8 LIFT OFF!

  • @veenusz Um yeah I dunno why anybody would invent this I mean come on it would be crap for search and rescue in dense forest, and total crap for rescuing ppl stranded on frozen lakes!! Jeez what a stupid machine I bet its not fun to fly at 1000m either.

This machine will save lives let alone how much fricken fun it would be for recreational purposes. $100,000 U.S is nothing, ppl already spend that on cars, this has huge market potential! Its safe too with a rocket deployed safety chute. I want

  • loving this kiwi accent ;)

  • @bonameshooligans i would keep one in my backyard just incase a tsunami hits us, i live righ tnext to the ocean. or if i have to escape from the police one day

  • The jetpack can fly, but will it blend?

  • @SimonCovvell haha

  • i'm a peacock you gotta let me fly
