Hayley have beautifull voice, but... this song is definettely not for her... She have to high voice.
Only Elaine Paige is real Grizabella.

My personal favorite. Some say Hayley was 13 when she done this. That makes me appreciate it even more, this isn't an easy song for someone so young.
Very nice voice!

@SakuraMochiKitty Well, it is in the original key of B-flat at the beginning, but the low notes are quite low for most female singers, so one way to combat or bypass the problem is to change notes within the key altogether (like what Jackie Evancho attempted). What Hayley did was to sing the low notes ("Every street lamp seems to beat a fatalistic warning") at octave upwards, before returning to normal.

She has a greate voice but I like Epica's version better.

Very lovely , her lovely voice puts me to slumber as If I was listening to a singing angel and the meaning of the song makes me cry

Was this from one of her earlier albums like Walking In the Air or Hayley Westenra? :)

Very clear, accessible voice :) Rather like Emmy Rossum

does anyone know what key Hayley's singing this in? I know it's not in the original key because in the original score, the line "Every streetlamp seems to beat a fatalistic warning. Someone mutters and the streetlamp gutters and soon it will be morning" consists of low notes, not high notes.

Now that Hayley is in her 20's, she should record this song again. I'm pretty sure that a decade has made a lot of difference to how she'd sing it now.
She sang this really well, but I do believe it takes someone who's longing back to their younger/better days to truly express this song. Now that she's all grown up and a real adult, I'm sure she can convey emotions of wishing her innocent youth back into this song much better.
