Black Op's 1st thoughts

More videos to come... but as of right now this game is almost unplayable. The lag is horrendous on any server, any setting, any connection. It's to the point where I'm just running around with a shotgun only just to have fun because the hit detection is so bad due to lag that I can't accomplish anything.

Really hope they fix this. Anyone else experiencing lag?

@Te4mUp I just now saw this. I absolutely love the FAMAS now, although to be accurate you have to be the pop-firing type... or have a sight.

Dude! I totally enjoy using the M14 as well, use a reflex sight and put a green laser instead of the red one and I have some Flora camo, it looks sick :D

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but you can zoom in or sight down the mini gun as if it were a rifle while in the chopper gunner, just my two cents lol

I'm still a bit disappointed there are noticeable framerate dips in the PS3 version or that the lag is unpredictable, but I can't deny the feeling that we've been given a fresh slate with the CoD franchise. I personally love the new credit and customization added, really changes the complexion of the entire game. XP before was a nice number to see, but with the credit system, I feel like I can appreciate my accomplishments more.

I kept getting kicked at the multiplayer lobby while waiting for the next match. No problems with lag.....yet.

I was good but for me I may go back to MOH, more challenging, than COD.

@MILADINY0 The FN-FAL and M14 are both semi-auto and both sweet, especially the M14 w/ a grip. 2-3 hit kill at any range.

I am looking forward to getting stuck into this game. How are the semi-auto rifles in Black Ops ? I was extremely disappointed in Mw2 for only featuring a FAL. I love, however, the carbine from WaW.
