I have what could only be described as a fungal sinus infection if I decided to take 800 mg a day of the andrographis for ten days will it get rid of the stuffy nose and yellow mucus or will it only alleviate some of the symptoms?

thanks for yr response. i get common colds and in the past was trying to ward them off with vit c etc. however the virus was not completley out of my system .secondary bacteria resulted from the common cold infecting my sinusesgiving chronic sinusitus. i only take AB"S for that not a cold as its viral like u say.

I have some Andrographis paniculata plants growing, how can I use them? do I just eat the leaves? ( I have read it is very bitter ) do I make a tincture? dry them?

thx doc but any idea of were these herbs can be purchased?
echinacea is very good however warding off a cold can lead to seconardy infection developing in a sinusitus. if i come down with a cold i will be in future letting it run its course as i am sick of taking anti biotics.. happy to have a flu a or a cold as flu aches are managable or bearable opposed to sinus pressure and pain.drs make 2 much money off ppl . however do u have a herbal spray which can shrink nasal polyps or burst it to realease infection and mucous.

If you have a cold or flu, you should not be taking antibiotics for treatment in any case. Antibiotics only kill bacteria. A cold or flu is caused by a virus. Antibiotics have no effects on viruses. In any case, the therapy I discussed in this video is beneficial for colds, flu and sinusitis.
I don't know of an herbal spray that can shrink nasal polyps.

Andrographis paniculata, Eleutherococcus senticosus (or just Eleuthero), and Echinacea purpurea.
