start off with running. the better you get with things like sprinting, the more power you can get in your shots because of your ability to swing your legs afterwards.
for technique, practice hitting the ball against a wall. find a wall, and with chalk or something, draw a square on the wall (about 20 inches by 20 inches) about half a meter off the ground. then practice hitting the ball in different places with different parts of your foot
aim for that square and the better you get at it, the more it will show in your montages.
