about the same , but nicer, they had clamps, pen knives, bonesaws, and probes.

@knight10666 well, usualy a few probes, to take out shrapnle, a bone saw, a bone wedge, to make the mark for the saw, a feww small pen knifes, wisky, and other druggs, the south used wisky and willy bark. but thaats the bassics.

@beerborn i could only find pics of amputation kits i am looking for one with the deep bottom for drugs its a kit that is rare

@beerborn i happen to be well informed in practice i have a book writen by us med department i dont find it disgusting many practices have changed little except for sanitation thanks

I love the surgeon guy though he is so beast!
And they did such a good job with the effects of the bloody leg.
do you have a list of what was in the standard surgeons kit?
