Gradualism... Good trick, doc. Good trick...

@MrSHIZZLE4u You sir, are a moron

He is exactly right. A true divine religion must be flexible to accommodate people in all times. Islam today is mainly a cultural system blindly followed from centuries.

Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

@r0rozx I'd like also to add the the prophet companions didn't become the best Muslims ever in few days or weeks , but they kept trying for years .Also make your self always connected to them , get a book about the prophet companions and read the prophet Sira .Few pages every day will make feel that you live among them . Also build your faith upon proofs and logic , islam is full of miracles in Quran and Sunnah .Search for these miracles and your faith will be solid whatever your mental state is

Listen to Quran alot and get a translation of course , the prophet told us that Iman (faith) increases and decreases and Quran renews your faith . Also don't push your self hard to do alot of ta'a (nafila ) instead push your self not to make any sin and when you do , don't get depressed , just repent and ask for forgiveness and keep trying , you don't have to be perfect .Don't feel overwhelmed by the dos and don'ts . Take islam step by step like a baby learning to walk .

@dawahworks youre a pure example of an idiot. who gave you the right to call someone "a shaytan"? How is he ignorant? cuz he isnt using arabic words in his lecture? because he says God, instead of Allah(swt)? hes open minded , youre narrow minded.

LOVE this man!

@MrSHIZZLE4u Crazy statement to make akhi from just a 4 min clip. Please read his books. He doesn't want to reform Islam. He wants Muslims to reform themselves. There is a BIG BIG difference. Salaam alaikum and Ramadhan kareem.
-
You see him on the edge of apostasy? He wants to reform Islam? Before you make such accusations, I'll suggest you read his book, "Losing My Religion: A Call for Help". You will appreciate the robust explanation he gives to people who feel like the tittle of the book. You must also separate "reforming Muslims" from "reforming Islam". If he calls on Muslims to separate their culture-core from Islamic position so that Islam can be better understood, what's the problem with that?
When someone first converts, you should let them take baby steps in to the faith, or else they will be OVERWHELMED.

It is very true and unfortunate that most muslims try to make Islam much harder than it really is.
