Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Review - Nintendo Wii - Part 1 gameplay

Review for the Nintendo Wii version of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 the game. Made by EA this is the most disappointing title yet and one of the worst Wii games I've ever seen. I pushed through playing this game even though it was anger inducing and annoying in every second. They changed the story, inserted mindless quests, and created graphics that are outdone by the PS2 and DS. I ask you not to buy or play this game. It's not fun, it's an abomination and you can't even laugh at it. It's that bad. If you're a Harry Potter fan, you will find a ton in this to be angry at. This game defiles the storyline in hope to make a decent third person shooter. It fails miserably at that as well so overall it's just bad all around. Everything has been dumbed down and extra stuff added to keep you busy.

Sure you might have fun with it, but then you might also have fun throwing wet sponges against a wall.

@Demirvito Only if someone other than EA made it. I hoped the deathly hallows would be a good one but the disappointment just killed it for me. Sadly, Lego Harry Potter is a billion times better. Just go play that. I'll probably review it at some point.

I have the Game on Wii Too but i have a Problem: how can i make Other spells? For example expelliarmus? I can only make stupefy. Can you help me? Sry for Bad english

@MrColdmirrorfan I believe you hold down the minus or plus button to select another spell type. Really the only spell that works at all is stupify. Every other spell is the same thing but less powerful.

This review sucks I rented it after seeing this review and LOVED IT graphics don't look like that its your crappy tv get HD then play the game it is better I admit some parts are gay and controls for wii are bad but thats how all Wii games are :/

@HP1054 Not all Wii controls are bad. This is far worse than most. The graphics are crap and the game is badly made. In fact you will find quite a few other reviews backing up my complaints. Nintendo Power, 1up, Metacritic, and quite a few others have rated this a 4 or less.

Might want to think twice before making stupid claims like I don't have a good TV. Seen any of my other vids? Notice the 1080p? I do these reviews for user benefit. This game sucks and people need to know that.

@pot8to trust me deathly hallows part 2 is way better I mean deathly hallows part 1 was decent but deathly hallows part 2 is the best it isnt like the wii controls for wii. The way I knew that it's better is because I saw a let's play. If you want to see a lets play of deathly hallows go to primetimelps

@GameMaster786 The review is to let others know how the game measures up. Just because I'm not paid to give everything an 8 rating and love every piece of garbage I play. I actually wanted to like this game. I loved the movie, enjoyed the book, but this game is awful.

I have the game and it's kinda bad becus they changed the story a little bit and the graphics are badder than the ps3 one well the ps3 one is ok but the graphics are a little bit better than the very first game but I still like killing lots of death eaters. but it did let me update my wii. i rate this game 3/5
