  • Probably the best instructional video regarding this subject done to date! Thanks, you helped me out tremendously!

  • @Roburt0529 glad it helped, Love a 1911

  • Thanks for the vid. I just bought this gun but didn't know how to break it down.

Shot 100 rounds with it today, no malfuntions. I love this gun.

  • @alan1604 Nice, this was my first purchase for the 1911 style. A great shooter!!!

  • I just got the combat model and it is sweet as hell. I idiot scratched it the second time I tried to reassemble. I can't get the hang of putting the slide stop back in. I'm sure it won't be the last scrach I put in it but I sure am glad it was me that put the first scrach in it and not somebody else. I wear this gun like jewelry.

  • @bruceaneff Nice man, It is a great handgun, and my first 1911! Aww man it was like nails on chalkboard when I scorched mine. It shows charisma

  • i have the loaded parkarized... beautiful gun, never had a malfunction

  • @bwanasid Thanks Man, The mil spec and the loaded break down the same except for the guide rod portion, with the loaded you have a full length, which requires a tool, the mil spec has a cap that you just push down. And I believe that the Mil spec's sights are not Novac, dovetail cuts, but I have seen a few with them. Thanks for watching.

  • Great video and beautiful gun. I just bought a Mil Spec and love it but I do want to install night sites and change out the spur hammer to a rounded one.

Does the Mil Spec break down exactly like this one?

  • @thenowandaway yeah man, It was my first 1911, and what a great buy!!
