Jack Gibbons plays his Lullaby (in memoriam Edward Jablonski) Op.51 composed in memory of the remarkable American author Edward Jablonski, famed for his authorative books on Gershwin, Arlen, Berlin and many other composers, and also An Encyclopedia of American Music, Flying Fortress, Airwar, Doolittle, and many other acclaimed titles. Gibbons gave the first performance of his 'Lullaby (in memoriam)' at Edward Jablonski's memorial service in New York on March 24th 2004. This performance was recorded live in New York, February 2005.
