Medical transcriptionists translate dictated medical reports into printed formats. Working with physicians and other health care professionals, transcriptionists are responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical reports, including history and physicals, consultations, operative reports, discharge summaries, pathology and radiology reports, chart notes, and correspondence.

This intensive online one-year program provides "hands-on" experience transcribing a variety of medical reports of all specialties (ENT, cardiology, orthopedics, gastrology, urology, oncology, internal medicine) from actual dictation. All material is transcribed with accuracy, clarity, and timeliness using microcomputers.
