My friend and former Disney associate, Dr. Randy Pausch delivers his farewell lecture at Carnegie Mellon University. Probably the last public speech he will give. The 46-year-old professor and father of three preschoolers has incurable pancreatic cancer. Yet, Randy did not focus on impending death. Instead, he celebrated the chance he had been given to live the life he always had dreamed of. An inspiring talk that should be shared. This video is from the Post-Gazette's web site.

  • Dr. Pausch....you still give me strength, where ever you are!

  • In this generation we live far llonger. Generations back, 47 would be old. His kids got to know him. I think he had a better life than I, and I was born 1 year and 1 month before. He achieved SO much. And he knew he had.

  • Life is not an exact science, don't waste your time trying to understand it, but give it your best shot. This guy had time for reflection, some people go without the chance to say anything. We all will die some day but it is still one big mystery. Nobody knows exactly from where we came from and where we are going to, but hey what happens between these two events is a really big bonus. Enjoy!

  • RIP you are truely a great man

  • i am copeing with a bad blood disorder..he is changing my life

  • amazing man.....may his soul rest in peace

  • I hate seeing a woman cry like that ;(

  • One of my teachers introduce to us his book, I was full of empathy and I decided to buy this book.

Usually I don't read books, but this one has the same view point that I have, so I think I would really like this book :)
