PhoneArena reviews the Motorola ATRIX 2. Can you believe that it has been only 9 months since our eyes first feasted upon the Motorola ATRIX 4G and its innovative qualities back at CES? Fortunately for all of us, Motorola is quick to pump out its successor in a timely manner as the Motorola ATRIX 2 is happily finding its niche on AT&T's lineup right now. What's especially enticing about the ATRIX 2, unlike some of its rivals, is the simple fact that it's only sporting a manageable $99.99 on-contract price point...

  • @andyyube CPU) Tegra 3 Kal-El (quad-core) > Exynos 4212 (dual-core, possibly used b6y sgs3) > Ti OMAP 4470 (dual-core, another google phone) > Ti OMAP 4460 (dual-core used by nexus prime) > Exynos 4210 (dual-core used by sgs2... etc) > Tegra 2 (dual-core used by droid x 2.. etc) > QCOM 8660 (dual-core used by droid bionic...etc) > Apple A5 (dual-core used by Iphone4S)

  • @andyyube (GPU) Mali-400 (by all Exynos chipset in phones like SGS2, cap at 60fps max as samsung says no human eyes can detect further than that, the possibilities of Mali-400 capability are yet to be told) > Adreno 220 (in some phones like HTC sensation, 54-59fps Max) > ULP Nvidia GeForce (in phones like Optimus2X, Droid X2, by far 67fps on GL benchmark, and there's no frame cap for Tegra 2 processor) > PowerVR SGX544 MP1 (in Iphone4S and Ipad 2, GL benchmark 45-49fps, no frame cap)

  • @moparNcats if ur an engineer, you can't really use CAD software on your phone anyway. Iphone still feels faster even when it's specs is slower. I've use both, and the browser on the android is SO CHOPPY!! (which is not using it's "true potential" like you said. I do agree iphone in terms of hardware is OVERPRICED, but since they're dominating the market with just one phone... they are be overpriced, and no one will truly care.

  • @johnchen0213 I am an electrical engineer and I DO CARE about the specs. Android OS by far and away TRUMPS Apple OS's in the level of customization and functionality. Apple is predominantly proprietary while Android is open source. Iphones are just for stupid people who use phones for what they are - Android OS is for guys like me (engineers, techs, IT, etc) who want to get more from our phones and to unlock their true potential. Apple is only superior in being overpriced and over-hyped

  • @Rayz093 you still don't get it. NOBODY CARES THE SPECS. What's more important is the software. The reason why apple is superior is the apps it have in the app store, you can have a fking 6cores CPU, it's not gonna have anything using that android OS.... Besides, really. When scrolling and zooming in the browser, iphone really do it smoothly.

  • I love this phone I have nothing bad to say about it!
