Still Lunar: NASA shots of long-lost Soviet Moon rover

A Canadian scientist has solved a 37-year-old lunar mystery. The astronomy professor has found the final resting place of the long-lost Soviet moon rover which disappeared four months after landing on the moon in 1973. The scientist examined the images released by NASA this week and found that the rover made the longest trek of any traveller on a celestial body but eventually got stuck in a crater. Its radiator got jammed with soil which led it to overheat and stop working. The Lunokhod-2 was the second Soviet rover to land on the Moon where it will now stay, according to scientists, for the rest of time.

A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing. You can say anything is fake but to do that you have to prove it. I havent seen anyone prove any of the accusations. The NASA video signals that were sent from the moon were not compatible with the television broadcast standard so NASA had to film a monitor that was showing the NASA signal then rebroadcast it to the public. Before people make these wild accusations they should actually do some research first.

@akirafactor The moon landings were real as advertised, recently the LRO photographed the tracks left on the moon by the lunar rovers from apollo, then there's the British radar that tracked the apollo to the moon surface, then there are the 1000's of photos taken on the moon by the astronauts,then there are the lunar rock samples some of which only recently have had there composition revealed,as they remained a mystery for some 30 years.

@chevydeo we obviously were capable, and even more so now. there are a ton of reasons the cold war ended, this is not being a major factor. and i dont think they would be able to keep any secret, as they cant keep secret a president jizzing on the blouse of some bimbo in the oval office or they cant keep secret people sneaking around some hotel looking for bugs (watergate)

Anything was valid to avoid a war against URRS. in fact that stopped the cold war.

@chevydeo That is a movie, and you can tell it's fake. Again the burden of proof is on you, you can't just say something and not prove it, of FYI (that's 'for your information") It would be harder to get soil samples from an asteroid. Are you really suggesting w are not technologically capable to land anything on the moon when they can hit you with a missile in the face from across the world? And how is hundreds of gov. officials suppose to keep a secret if they are incompetent?

the 1000 of photo´s u can see are fake (lot of them are compossitions), as the trasmition.

the rock samples could be any meteor.

about recent photos :Imagine they can fake anything nowadays.

And maybe, just maybe you would never beleive its a hoax.
