haha ur funny.... I could have this built before you even got your item shipped. If your too lazy to do a 15 min project.. then stop surfing youtube for DIY !!!! maybe you should try a diy pencil. 1. buy pencil. 2. sharpen. But I guess you would try to buy them pre-sharpened hahaha

  • @mybuscommunitytransp well i haven't heard of 'topping up' but i did add a tap to the bottom of my dwc system and i drain it and there's a hose in the top where i fill it ( so roots are not exposed to light ) although i guess you could top up too

  • @samster45 i watched another video the other day and this guy was fairly good at what he did and he changed the feed all in one go, he just emptied old solution out and added new solution....

  • @mybuscommunitytransp Good question, id like to know also.if you find out could you let me know? thanks.

  • thanks for putting your time and effort into making this vid, has help clear a few things up but what gets me is how do you add feed? do you empty the bucket and add new solution or just make it up as you go and keep topping it up?

  • which is the name of the point used to drill the second role?

  • Most hydroponic stores will have these complete kits. For everything a 1.5 gal bucket/lid/netpot/pump is 25 bucks..a 3.5 is 35 bucks

  • This is what I was going to do but then I stopped by a local Hydroponics shop and they had lids for 3 & 5 gallon buckets that already have the net pot built into them.

I got the lid, a 3 gallon bucket, an air pump, tubing, an air stone, a bag of Hydroton and a bag of rockwool plugs for $24. Not knocking the vid though, it's a great video for those who don't have access to the potted lids.

  • @unitoo1 well that's you.....say that to others who are on the same boat as i am....

  • I saw this entire DWC kit on the website for $44.99, i'll rather buy that than waist time building my own.
