Todd Thompson is a professional adaptive athlete. Todd had his leg amputated after complication in surgeries resulting from a motocross crash in 1998. At the time, Thompson was one of the top California pros. Thompson has been riding since the age of 3 and he rode professionally for 3 years. Todd became a technician due to racing injuries. He has dedicated his life to the industry and his business, Thompson Race Works. Proving his worth with a wrench has taken Todd all over the United States and abroad for factory race teams and riders. Thompson is proud of his accomplishments in racing and his mechanical abilities and strives to be the best in both fields. Currently Todd is serving the Redding and Shasta County area providing solid work on Street bikes, Dirt bikes, ATV (quads), Enduro bikes, Road racing bikes, and watercraft (PWC) machines as well as all other types of on and off road machines.

Currently, Thompson is training for next years X games. Once Todd found out about AAS (Adaptive Action Sports) and CAF (Challenged Athlete Foundation) and their collaboration with X Games, Todd hasn't looked back. He trains everyday he can, and is dedicated like no one I have ever seen before. He has some local sponsors and people that donate their tracks for his training but he is currently looking aiming to gain sponsors. Check him out! Thanks for watching and supporting our friend and brother, Todd Thompson as he pursues his dreams to X Games competition.

  • Keep it real don't hang with LUMS or listen to people who PICK AND GRIN!! Good to see you are still proactive.

  • Todd were the biggest inspiration to me sir! After watching yours and other videos with prosthetics, my doctor and i decided that a prosthetic would fit my lifestyle better. I had my leg amputated Feb 18, 2010 and I am so happy I did. Have not got my prosthetic yet, but i am already looking for a bike. Thank you so much, hope to hear from you or possibly meet you in the future....David Slider

  • Todd your doin awesome! I lost my right foot in 91 and still ride also. Have you tried shaving the stump and a little antiperspirant its kinda a PIA but helps. I also use a neopreme suspension sleeve like you and over that the Thor force knee guards they help a lot. I used an older socket and pylon with an Elite foot and bolt the foot into and old boot that I cut down like a tennis shoe. keep kick' ass Todd
