vampire hunter sega saturn game play

Vampire hunter (aka darkstalkers 2) for the Sega saturn. Released in 1996 for Saturn. Runs without any additional 4MEG ram cart and it's a pretty amazing conversion. Sony had made a deal with Capcom to bring Darkstalkers exclusively for the PSX but sneaky Capcom had hidden the first game in this. Highlight Config, then press B, X, down, A, Y

Is New Warrior and Vampire the same game? Also it seems some ppl use vampire instead of darkstalked? Why the variation in what everyone calls it?All I can find is regional (Japan vs US) in my research. Thanks.

What's cool about the B, X, Down, A, Y code is that it does more that just change the backgrounds. It even restores animation frames, making this game even better!

Umm,no like ryu in street fighter he can do the huge ray haduken in MVC, but it would be too cheap in other games.

the colors on this game made it more deep....as it effects how powerful each character's moves will play out in the game...love darkstalkers to me me it has more features than street fighter and has not gotten enough attention 4rom the media...long live darkstalkers! 4eva! peace

This game on Saturn is great. It has a hidden option for enable all the animation frames when playing vs the same character. Anyway not a lot of frames are lost on the game.

I really love this conversion and it demonstrates the 2D power of Saturn
