First of all, I would like to say that any comments stating that this sucks, you could do better, or any other hate comments, they just don't work...
But constructive criticism is highly encouraged, I really want to know how to get better!

This movie, titled "Industrialisation- the seed of artificial conscience" was created ENTIRELY by myself, I received no help whatsoever. The movie was created for the California Independent Film Festival, student division (8th grade)(yes, I am that young, my profile says 27, more like 13) and won second place, and was the only animation in the entire student section. This same film will be entered in the international film festival in Danville, CA.

SUMMARY *SPOILERS*
because it is my first animation, and very hard to understand, a summary is below:
*SPOILERS*
In a small valley, surrounded by lush hills, a group of robots are transforming trees into industrial buildings, a metaphor on how we humans treat the environment. One robot sees the error in their ways, and convinces the others that what they are doing is wrong. Due to his rally, they begin turning these buildings back into trees, but they are seen by their boss, A larger, more menacing robot. This boss then kills the robot whom originally created the rally, and simultaneously transforms all remaining trees back into buildings, and rolls away with the remaining workers. Then it is revealed that the killed robot had in his hand a seed, which then plants into the ground and sprouts as a small sapling.
*END OF SPOILERS*

also, there is a collection of mistakes left inside the film which I did not notice until completion. The first one who finds all three will get a virtual pat on the back! The three mistakes comprise of ( in chronological order):
The camera flying though an object
Continuity
2 objects clipping through each other

PS: sorry for the cruddy quality, youtube absolutely kills all sharpness in any video

  • Liked it

  • Well, uzair, i did as I promised, and watched the film. I still have absolutely no idea what to do with Blender and Python, but this animation is simply effin' awsome! I, unfortunately, do not possess that much programming skill... Excellent ending!

  • I still am blown away by your movie Uzair. I still cant make anything decent in blender. 5/5 totally.

  • Execellent Animation - very cool way of illustrating eco-accountablity
