@jesus713ds We were the same way when we first were together here. It was almost like when I had to wait for her to complete her paperwork to travel here. Frustrating. Since her arrival, we've learned to set aside funds each month to save up for a return trip back home (Philippines) so she can see her family each year. It makes her very happy that we can do this. Her happiness is mine too. We want to express our condolences & extend our sympathy on your family loss. God Bless you & yours.

@jesus713ds I congratulate you & your wife on your newlywed marriage (ours being nearly 20 yrs). Yes. There is something very special about being married to a Filipina. Just their natural beauty is so intoxicating. I'm sure that as you go through life with her, your marriage will become stronger & you both closer than you could ever imagine. Just as we have. We also know what it's like by not being able to travel back home to the Philippines as often as we would like.

@1zesty1 My wife has now been in the US with me for three years and I love her more than when we first met. You're very fortunate to be able to go back to the phils so often. We haven't even been able to go back once and we're probably still a few years away. She misses her family badly (as they do her). She even had to go through the death of her grandmother barely 6 months into being in the US. Even if I can't go I'd love to send her back for a trip at least. Continue to be blessed.

@Jesus713 I know EXACTLY what you mean. I have gone through the same experience. I am also an American who married a Filipina beauty. I am so happy to be married to my Filipina wife. She has made me so happy every day of my life since the very first night we met, back in 1991. I know I will spend the rest of my life with her. She IS my life. We also go back home to the P.I. every year with our children to visit family. We want our children to know where their roots are.
