UB All Spiced Up Clay is a 2yr old Appaloosa colt. He stands about 15.1 and has lots of growing left to do. He has a big slow step and smooth gaits. "spot" will be able to take you to the top! I have taken him to a few small shows and he has been out on the trails lots, I have even swam on him bareback in the lake (which he loved). This horse is long legged and very elegant and everywhere he goes he gets comments and recognition. I am asking $6000 for him but am willing to negotiate as I would like to see him go to a good home.. Feel free to email me if you have any questions about him or would like to come out and try him. jen_price_@hotmail.com Also ask about our show schedule so you can see him really perform in his domain!

@AbsolutMyS Most race horses start racing at the age of 2. Full speed, on a track. The only thing that really should be held off on is jumping because at the point of landing there is approximately 6000 lbs of pressure on the leg that hits the ground first.

Isn't it a bit too early to ride a 2 year old? I've heard that horses muscles and bone structure aren't developed enough for it to carry a rider until the horse is at least 3 years old. Does it depend on which breed it is?
