Deutsch: Das ist der erste deutsche Trailer zu No Country for Old Men. No Country for Old Man ist ein US-amerikanischer Thriller von Ethan und Joel Coen aus dem Jahr 2007. Das Drehbuch von Ethan und Joel Coen beruht auf dem gleichnamigen Roman von Cormac McCarthy.

Handlung: Llewelyn Moss ist Veteran des Vietnamkriegs. Er jagt in der Nähe von Rio Grande, wo er mehrere Leichen und einen Koffer mit zwei Millionen US-Dollar findet. Moss nimmt den Koffer mit sich. Es geschehen zwei weitere Morde, woraufhin Moss sich an die Behörden wendet und Schutz für sich sowie seine Ehefrau fordert.


English: This is the first german trailer to No Country for Old Men. No Country for Old Men is a 2007 film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Cormac McCarthy. The film was written and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, who also edited it under the pseudonym 'Roderick Jaynes'. The title derives from the first line of William Butler Yeats' poem "Sailing to Byzantium".

Plot: The film opens with shots of desolate, wide-open country in West Texas in June 1980. In a voiceover, the local sheriff, Ed Tom Bell (Tommy Lee Jones), tells of the changing times as the region has become increasingly violent. Next, Anton Chigurgh (Javier Bardem), a psychotic hitman, escapes police custody and steals a car using a cattle gun.

Echt unfassbar, wie viele Leute den Film nicht schnallen. Es ist nun mal nicht so, dass bei jedem Film am Ende die "Guten" gewinnen und alles wieder in Ordnung ist. Die Welt ist nun mal nicht so, wie sie oft dargestellt wird, seh es ein, Leute.

@IceClimberss In Germany there are many superb voice artists. Just listen to the german equivalents of Bruce Willis, Kevin Spacey, Joe Pesci, Tom Hanks, Whoopi Goldberg or Judi Dench - better than the original ;)
