This game NEEDS and HD version, just a graphic enhancer by id software, but the music, gameplay style, speed, and all other elements beside the graphics must remain the same.

Gaming will never be as awesome as it was when doom and quake came out. Im 15 yes, but i played ultimate doom when i were 2 or 3 years old for the first time. The Heretic and hexen games are still my favorite games because their set in the medieval times. Love medieval games and that. And the story in these games are excellent. Quake 2 is one of the reasons i love sci fi games and tv series.
Im sure im not the only one who thinks like this.

I miss these kinda songs. Don't get me wrong, the OST that are coming out are alright, but where the hell is the action? Where is this kind of stuff? Too much story, not enough action.

There are some people that says Halo is better than Quake2. I say that people never played Q2 in LAN with their friends.
And... Yep... I use mods in Q2: Weapons of Destruction.

fantastic times... I started to play online in 1998 untill 2003... this atmosphere was so fuckin amazing, nowadays games have better graphics but online gaming is dominated by stupid teenagers, these times were for ELITE, times w/o facebook and this kinda shit. greetz for all q2dm1 strafe jumpers and grapple maniacs in q2ctf1 :)
