Threats Around Crimea - Russia

Tensions are growing over the Black Sea Fleet base and with the Ukraine trying to free itself from Russian dominance by seeking EU and NATO membership, the question is, could this be the next European war?
Although Crimea was given to Ukraine in 1954, Russian is still the main language spoken here and taught in schools. But Ukraines ambitions to enhance their own identity have stirred up emotions and problems. Learning Ukranian is now mandatory and is often the only official language. The threat of ending Russia's naval base lease in 2017 means there is the lingering threat of Georgian style conflicts. Sergej Normanskij says that all this instability puts nervous imprints on the situation, so people are afraid of that date.

In following years, Crimean Tatars would be a key factor on Crimea's fate. Becouse both Russian and Ukrainian populations are declining in Crimea while Tatar's are inreasing and they are returning back to their homelands from Uzbekistan.. And they totally want Ukrain governance due to their bloody history with Russia.

russia should learn how to live in peace with the neighbours. just stop pushing everyone around. and there will not be any hostility. lets just trade goods, cultures, visit each other. why is it so imposible? why some foreign country should tell who goes to eu or nato and who doesnt? i think it is just an imperialistic way of  thinking
