This, Pokemon, DBZ, Monster Rancher, Digimon, Sailor Moon, Tenchi Muyo and many other anime were all on american televison and got a lot of exposure yep the late 90's and early 00's were glory days for us anime fans......

I don't think it is fair to compare the two. They changed the story so much in America it was like a completely different anime.
