3RD NOTE: It has recently come to my attention that Gradius1, a Lionhead dev, has specifically confirmed that Rose's letter is referring to Scythe. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be any current plans to have Scythe reappear any time soon.

2ND NOTE: Even if you select the Love card and revive Rose, she does not appear in-game and you cannot find her, so please stop asking about her.

NOTE: So many people keep throwing out speculation about who the hooded man that Rose met is. It can't be Jack of Blades, assuming the good ending of The Lost Chapters is canonical, because he was turned deader than dead. Rose goes on to say the man feels kingly as well, which is the big key to this. Yes, the Hero of Oakvale was a descendant of the Archons so technically he's a possibility. However, a book titled "Living Forever: The Immortalists" in Fable II talks about those with long lifespans and brings up in particular a character from The Lost Chapters: Scythe. It suggests that he is in fact one of the Archons (but not specifically the last one) who achieved immortality through, possibly, necromancy, which would explain his rotting appearance in The Lost Chapters. He also was really downplayed in The Lost Chapters as an enigma, especially so when the so-called Oracle knows just about nothing of him. I have my own doubts that the Hero of Oakvale survived for hundreds of years as he was not exactly the most subtle person and he seemed to be relatively weaker in terms of Will power than characters like Theresa. To me, it seems that Scythe is increasingly building up to a big reappearance soon, perhaps in the upcoming Fable III. Sorry for the long note but so many people keep asking about it.

The ending of Fable 2, including what some may call the hardest boss ever. [/sarcasm]

Also shows what happens when you pick the ending for "The Needs of the Few" and its resulting letter.

  • WHERE'S MY DAWG

lol but jesus thank god, people still play this. add El Digato if you feel like achievement collecting.

  • @MrApophis All I have left is the frustratingly elusive Dollcatcher achievement, which requires the combined efforts of three people or so - assuming they have See the Future.

  • where u get that coat plz reply

  • @2008Flame I believe that's the Highwayman Coat. It should be available for sale in Westcliff, if not in most towns.

  • @2008Flame That actually seems to be the Patchy coat, the sleeves don't look right to be the highway man coat.

  • @webshoter I would surmise you're correct, as I do like to wear the Patchy Coat on my Heroes.

  • @repulic5 have you ever played fable the lost chapters??

  • @19you1 She does, you just don't ever see her again.

  • Bummer so rose dosent come back eh?

  • you can tell Theresa was truly evil this whole time because the way the camera focuses on her when she says

    "but the spire...is mine"

    "begone"

fable 4 ....hopefully she will reveal her true self and i..will finally have a good fight!

  • I heard if you dont shoot him a friend will shoot him for you o.O

  • @nevergivenaname3 I am sorry about your family thats cold, but it made me laugh so much

  • Fable 4 will reveal Tersa's master plan and how she was building up for her huge evil move in the last 2 games(fable 2 to get the spire a huge power grab in itself, and fable 3 to remove a major competitor the crawler)

Scythe will be Wil, his return being to fight Teresa and prevent another dark age of petty evil power hungry archons who were little better than the court of blades he fought so hard to overthrow.

  • @sandwichofshadows

and fable 3 makes it even more clear. she was the puppet master the entire game. she is explicetly stated to have been the reason my bro turned darkside(to fill the coffers) she used and mislead me to get me to overthrow him cause she knew i'd use it to win where bro was a tool/stepping stone to be discarded before the fight cause he'd lose. ect.

  • @sandwichofshadows events she doubtless knew would get her killed. She set me up to want to kill lucien to remove a pawn who's usefulness had ended cause she knew I'd stopping lucean destroying the world with it and clear the path for her getting the spire. The timing of the attack on the monestary imediately after she said "we need a warrior not a monk" that gave hammer reason to do exactly that, ect. loads more proof.

  • @AsureAgony

    wish i could do that.

i'd have killed reaver as soon as his use was ended with the final quest. going to samerkind to do it if necessary.

i'd ahve killed teresa. she is so OBVIOUSLY evil. imo she set all the events of the game up so she could get the spire. put Lucien on the idea the spire was the way to get his family back, probably directed him to Garth too.

she talked my sister into buying the music box instead of food drawing lucien's attention and setting the
