The Motorola Triumph is a new Android phone and available through Virgin Mobile. This unit comes with a factory screen protector, and when removed, you are left with the beautiful Gorilla glass. Makes it more touch responsive and easier to glide.

  • What forum did you read this at? Nice tip, thanks.

  • @evan2024 Read it at HowardForums and AndroidForums. I never would have seen it by myself.

  • @lonepantherkmt ---LOL! You're right, and I sound like a disgusting pig who needs an extra layer of protection on my phone. Next time, I won't put the camera right next to my head and post a video while I'm getting over a cold!

  • @iDriftDoYou Well, not really residue, as much as lines where I stopped peeling for a second, so whatever you'd like to call it.

  • I might love you for this, no homo of course. :p I absolutely hate scratches on my phone, so when I found out that I only scratched a spare protector, I jumped to pull mine off, and I may have pulled it off too quick, or too slow, or it always does this, but I have got alot of residue there, so could you give me any tips to get it off?

  • @willyumsstudio sounds like something is bogging down your CPU. If not, overclock it and I'm sure it'll be snappier.

  • I just removed the screen protector after reading several forum posts saying that it helped, and... there was no change in sensitivity and the scrolling was as jerky as usual. Not entirely sure I should consider this phone defective, because the screen WORKS, just not 100%. Hopefully this doesn't void the warranty. I bought it from an independent seller, so I don't even have a store receipt. Thinking a factory reset might be the only option left but not sure that would do anything.

  • WOW!LOOK AT THAT SHINE! XD

  • ive had this phone for about 2 months and i have found some issues with the touch screen myself. its just unresponsive at times and requires you to press 3 or 4 times before it registers. I may be trying this on my phone soon as i got my screen covered in concrete and adhesive cement so i may not have a choice...

  • Can u breathe?

  • Your snorting is so damn annoying.

  • Sounds like you need a change of pants.

  • I actually removed the screen protector while watching this video. I was wondering why the scrolling was so jerky and not nearly as smooth as other smartphones. It turns out the blasted factory screen protector was the culprit! It was WAAAAYYYY too thick making scrolling a nightmare. I'm with you -- HATE screen protectors! Much better now.
