i found out about the garlic last week,worked good. i isolated all the fish and used QuICK Cure in the main pool. lets see

have you treated for ich?

1 fish in a self-imposed exile... the sickness is more often then not, isolated to that sick fish.

can you make a small sick tank to observe? If you'll read about the Ich cycle it is easy to identify.

@bertotee its not ick man. your system is too clean. you need to make sure your water is treated before you add it. also make sure your temps are good. check your ph. you need to get some gunk in that system its too sterile. killl all the chemicals with abscorbic acid.

I''m just curious how is the humidity in your room? With the sun and water I'm curious if the humidity will mould on the drywall over time?

I've also learned from a master fishkeeper at my local Petsmart (Canada) by a CSR who owns many tanks and large reef setups that garlic (mashed fresh) can help with ICH when the goldfish eat it. That tip alone saved me a lot of money on ICH meds as I always use garlic n the kitchen for cooking and can always spare a thumbnail amount..
