Earlier this summer, Ogilvy Washington hosted an Ogilvy Exchange event featuring a panel discussion on the changing media and its impact on the American public as consumers, voters and community members. We were pleased to have distinguished panelists including VP and Director of Governance Studies at Brookings Darrell West, Senior Manager of Global Communications and Public Affairs at Google Adam Kovacevich, Global Business Writer for USA Today David J. Lynch, Deputy Director of Pews Project for Excellence in Journalism Amy S. Mitchell, journalist/blogger for the Washington Examiner Julie Mason, Washington Post business reporter Ylan Mui and journalist/blogger at U.S. News and World Report Nikki Schwab.
The event presented a robust interpretation of the impact of the changing media landscape on our lives and the lives of those around us from what now constitutes news to who is actually doing the reporting.
