This completely silent ad is from a campaign for the Kids Help Line of Australia that was designed to encourage parents to take the time to talk with their children more often. This ad was designed to create an awkward silence for families watching TV together that would encourage families to talk to fill the silence. You either talked or changed the channel and if you changed the channel it was a pretty big indicator that you were scared of having an actual conversation with your children.
Very direct. Good commercial.
