What's wrong with all you people? This is a wonderful story about using technology to do some good for somebody and you people have to bring hate into it!?!?!? All of you get off the Internet and go do something for your fellow human beings. Get a life! Help someone out. Give a reason for your existence. Justify your use of planetary resources.

Well said!
Yeah, technology can be used to cause harm... but it can also be used to help give people opportunities to live a better life. And i don't know about you but i would consider being able to use technology to give this child a chance to even give her mother a hug is worth more than money.
I feel incredibly fortunate to be living in this era of human history.

I am a patient with mutiple skeleton diseases, my future could depend on this inventions. Why this wasn't in our main dutch news and the 3d gun was i dont know.
I do not get why probably healthy people post offensive / inhumane comments or involve religions. Besides Sir W. Sample MUST be blessed by a higher force for his unbelievable patience and precision. What i do understand is why people post with fake accounts. Cause i would hunt them down, after they made me a suite. moreofme@live.nl

I don't mind people believing what they want, it's their right, but if they deny fact and evidence and try and pollute other peoples minds with their garbage they can go fuck themselves with a cactus.

Right. Plus, why would an omnipotent deity inflict suffering on children in the first place? Religion is such bullshit -- all of it.
