In my opinion Bloodrayne one is better than the second for a couple of reasons. The major one being I feel that in BR2 the dark gothic tone which was present in the first game was lost completely. Also a lot of foolish characters were added (like Zerenski's men, and Ferril's army for example). The zombies, nazis, and werewolves were cooler to fight I thought, and the concept of the last boss being the devil himself is just awesome. I also like how Rayne's character is more energetic and runs quickly through the levels and cuts up victims with more speed and acrobatics. Another point is that I like how you could pick up guns off the ground and mix and match dual weapons based on class and you could even get grenades and a bazooka. You would spend less time sucking enemies dry to reload the guns and your health and spend more time fighting. I even found the levels to be cooler and more dark and gothic than in the second one. Now all of this is just my opinion as I said, I do like both the games, and of course BR2 has great features that BR1 does not have. So here is a gameplay tribute to one of my favorite games set to one of my favorite bands; Nightwish (song is called Gethsemane or gothic sanctuary)
thanks all for your kind feedback!
