I'm strong agree with u, But remember this (well educated nation, is nation hard to govern and to control).
I bet this kids are in collage and they will graduated cause they (PAID !) for it.

information. My wife teaches 2nd grade and she has had parents call her and tell her she cannot give homework to their child becasue it is too difficult for them. You cannot expect a child to read at a third grade reading level if their parents cannot. Our system needs to evaluate the conditions in which a child lives and set standards to those conditions if they want to set realistic standards. People making decisions for our nation need to be familiar with our nation, not just their area.

@Shangas These people are a prime example of Americans today, we educate to the losest rung on the ladder and the smart children get ignored. Its just one of many reasons I believe we need some MAJOR reform in our country. This faliure is at the hands of our government however as they place standards on the entire system, and special needs children are grouped in with all other children so its very difficult to get good scores of you have a child that cannot talk let alone read or process...

The war movie was "The Patriot". 'Furlough' means to abandon something, to leave it alone to recuperate. Usually used in crop-cycles, I think.
