Chapter 11, Part 2

The girls' mouths dropped open.
"Seriously?" Briana asked, thinking this might be some kind of joke.
But the boys' faces stayed firm, and there was no sign of them about to burst out laughing that they had fooled the girls.
"Ehmagawd I think they mean it" Gabby said without any facial expression. She was too psyched to make any.
"Oh, we mean it, alright" Nick said, nodding "Just ask your parents"
"But... But... But..." Maddy stuttered, not knowing from where to start asking her million questions "What about the fans? And the media?"
"We posted a bulletin on our website and MySpace that we're headed straight back to New Jersey after the tour," Kevin explained "We hope that'll hold 'em up"
"And what about the place? Where are we going?" Maddy asked.
"We got that one figured out," Nick answered "Our friend owns this small hotel on an island, so we thought we could go there" Nick checked every girl's face, and continued "She said she'll keep her mouth shut"
"The Island is about 45minuets from a near by harbor" Joe added.
Maddy could imagine it now... Frolicking in the warm water, singing love songs to each other on the sandy beach, and then kiss under the beautiful sunset, with Nick Jonas...
Wait, who? Nick? No, Joe. Joe, right? Yeah. Joe.
"Hey, can I come too?" Gabby asked.
"Sure," Kevin immediately answered "You and Frankie are both welcome"
Gabby flashed a smile at Frankie.
Ding-dong, there go the bells in Frankie's heart again.
"Okay, so we'll just call our parents, so hold on a sec" Olivia said, pulling out her phone.
The girls took turns calling their parents, and finally convinced them to say yes.
When Briana snapped her phone shut, she took a deep breath.
"We're officially chillin' at the beach!" She announced.
The crowd cheered with 'Oh yeah!' and 'All right!'
"Under the conditions of getting different rooms," Olivia added.
This time the room was filled with 'That's cool' and 'Fine with me'
"We'll text you the details soon," Joe winked at Olivia.
She could feel her self grin.

"So, you guys want dinner?" Maddy stood up "We could order pizza or something?"
"Yeah that'll be great," Nick said, standing next to Maddy, wrapping his arm around her shoulders and squeezing her tight.
Maddy laid her head against him, and closed her eyes enjoying the moment of feeling protected by her knight in armor.
"Love birds," Joe rolled his eyes, holding Olivia by the waist.
Briana saw the two couples, and wished she and Kevin were like them.
Briana decided to give it another shot, making her move on Kevin. She took a deep breath, just incase he might crush her heart like he did last night.
She had been wondering why he had turned away when she tried to kiss him, and thought maybe it was the age difference.
She took a chance walking up to Kevin, and gently brushed her hand against Kevin's.
To her relief, Kevin took it, and held it tight.
Briana was happy, and suddenly, age didn't matter at all.
Somehow she knew Kevin was really sorry about last night, and wanted to make it up to her.

Gabby looked around at the 3 love birds, and sighed.
"I'll order," She said dully.
Gabby asked everyone what they wanted, and ordered the pizza.
As soon as she was finished, Frankie walked up to her.
He looked up at her with his shiny little eyes, and smiled.
Gabby smiled back.
"Pretty boring when the room is full of lovey-doveys and you don't got a date, huh?" She said, leading Frankie over to the couch and sitting.
"Yeah," Frankie sighed "I hate these gross teenage stuff!"
He made a face, sticking his tongue out.
Gabby laughed.
"But I'm cool, because you're here"
Gabby didn't exactly know what he meant, but smiled and thanked him anyway.
There was a short silence between Gabby and Frankie, while the other 3 couples whispered something to each other.
Finally, Frankie cracked the silence.
"Do you believe in love at first sight?" He asked.
Gabby crinkled her eyebrows thinking it was a weird question for a 7-year old to ask someone he'd just met, but decided to be nice and answer it.
"Yeah, I guess so," She shrugged.
"Cool," Frankie said, turning to Gabby "Because I like you," He said in his high-pitched voice, and smiled.
WOW. Gabby surely didn't see that one coming! Especially after how he said he hated teenage love things.
And it was only about 30 minuets or an hour since they met. But she guessed that's what love at first sight and a 7-year-old was.
"Uh, thanks, dude" She didn't know how to answer, so she ruffled Frankie's hair.
She couldn't date a 7-year-old -- Gabby was 14 for crying out loud! She was twice his age.
"Wanna watch TV in my room?" Gabby asked Frankie, in order to crack the awkwardness.
"Okay," Frankie answered perkily, oblivious to the atmosphere.
They raced up the stairs to Gabby's room.
