Jean Cocteau's last film: his cinematographic "testament". Cameo-appearences of Cocteau's friends, as diverse as Picasso and Yul Brynner. Starring Maria Casares and Jean Marais. Music by Georges Auric and Martial Solal. A short clip from the beginning of the film: the voice of the author.
