  • This video is one little string breaking away from being one hell of a ROFL video.

  • @k9uprising i also have a complete ROFL video if you want

  • very very NICE man !! I want to make a ash bow like your ! your are very powerful ! 110 / 130 lbs is very perfect ! today I have broken my ash longbow ( in contruction ) ...

I have some question for my future ash self bow :

    - How cm is the diameter of ash tree you have used for this longbow ?

    - How is diferent size you have used for this longbow ( if you can make a simple draw, thx very much! )

    thank's for your futur answer.

    Cordially, Lucas

  • @PyroYeah sorry for my very late answer bro, the tree diameter was just about 7cm, length 210cm. This I dont understand- - How is diferent size you have used for this longbow ( if you can make a simple draw? ....

  • Very nice bow. I would love to know if it is a self-bow though. Did you use any backing or laminating? I'm trying to decide if ash is the right wood for me to make my own longbow. Is your bow a "D" shape or completely round?

  • hi, yes it's a selfbow, i don't like modern plastic bows:) Is a flatter D shaped. This material very surprised me, is a very good workable and very stiff. I can shoot over a 260m with carbon arrow with this bow. Surely You should try it. s

  • @jooby24 No,they did not.

  • @Thetruthishere11

from what i understand they used to use their feet to hold the bow and both hands to pull the string back on those old longbows

  • did old english longbows really go up to 200 lbs?

wikipedia says so. I can't find any of

" Mark Stretton currently holds the world record for shooting a 900 N (200 pound) longbow."

  • The whole time I was thinking (Man, this could end up very bad...) XP Anyways, can you draw that bow victorian style? Or do you have to do it traditional style?
