New Years in Praha 2011 (RAW footage)

I was to find myself in Praha, Czech Republic, (aka Prague) enjoying fine dining, fine wine and the best of friends (outside of Canada) in the world to welcome in the 2011 New Year.

The Czech Republic permits both the possession and consumption of alcohol and pyrotechnics in public. You would think this a dangerous combination and in watching this video it might also seem so however, we did not notice a single person get hurt this night.

The feeling, the atmosphere, the smells, the sounds, it all came together to give you the most incredible experience you can't possibly imagine. Even watching this video again, it allowed me to relive it, but it too, does not do justice to letting you see what it was like.

I give you this video to see a small piece of what I experienced, but I must suggest, if you can find it in you, plan to make the trip to Praha, or any similar European city with similar laws, it will be worth it. I may post a video later on travelling in Europe and how to do so inexpensively.

I do apologize for the lack of a steady or in focus camera at times, but I was quite caught up in the moment to realize, or care for that matter. I just hope you can enjoy it the way it is.
