A glorious ceremony in the breath-taking interior of Westminster Cathedral. There's an air of expectation that this archbishop will make a significant contribution to Britain's national life. Down-to-earth, yes - but he is also a man of deep convictions and prayer.

@yewtreelodge Archbishop "Just Call me Vin" Nichols has said some questionable things since he was consecrated in Westminster.

I think he also needs to prove his Orthodoxy and obedience to the Pope and the "reform of the reform" - otherwise the Cardinal of England may well be a "floating" hat. Doesn't *have* to be +Westminster.
