@KingLloyd That probably explains why he's only been on this show once as a judge lol.

@KingLloyd I am both a fan of Iron Chef and Mr. Sakamoto. He comes off as rude and pretentious here but he is not lying. He really is a musical genius; one of the fathers of technopop.

Ironically, pressure cooker helped Machiba. It's dues ex machina.

it was the pressure cooker that did it...

@PR166lolly lol I hear ya but remember the judges are also Japanese.... and really if anyone thinks katsuobushi goes well with shark fins.... XD they're either Japanese and have been brought up with that flavor or they have very bad tongues.
Shark fins have a mild taste (not exactly tasteless) in themselves. Shark fin is used in a lot of things other than soups (such as stir fries) all the time, but westerners won't be familiar with such dishes. Take it from a grandson of a shark fin dealer.

Damn I thought the Challenger should've won, because Michiba used the pressure cooker thing, and that dish looked abit messy, while the Challenger's 3 dishes looked so unique and powerful !!
-
@zetasan Sakamoto is GOOD composer what are you talking about, he is the composer of 'the Last Emperor', best oscar film of the year, the film's score was phenomenal
-
The challenger's 3 dishes is SO POWERFUL !!!!!

Ryuichi Sakamto<3333
The composer is such a jackass. Self-promoting himself on a cooking show. What an A.

That guy is regarded as a crown in Japan. Never composed anything beyond ordinary in his lifetime. No, nothing. and yet, he calls himself a "world-class composer" and persuade everybody to call him by that self-proclaimed title. What a loser.
