Padma & Tom are back for season 4 in Chicago along with 16 new talented chefs. They all arrive and head to Pizzeria Uno for a meal. Quickfire challenge - Create a signature deep dish pizza in 90 minutes and deliver it to the judges house. Guest judge was Rocco Dispirito. His "house" turned out to be the Top Chef house. The top eight drew knives and paired up with on of the bottom 8 to have a cookoff of classic dishes. Richard vs Andrew - crab cakes, Mark vs Stephanie - Duck a l'orange, Jennifer vs Nikki - Lasagne, Antonia vs Nimma - Shrimp Scampi, Spike vs Lisa - Eggs Benedict, Dale vs Manuel - Steak Au Poivre, Ryan vs Valerie - Chicken Piccata, Erik vs Zoi - Souffle
The winners have a chance of winning - the losers have a chance of being eliminated. Top 4 Richard, Nikki, Antonia & Stephanie. Stephanie won. Bottom 4 were Ryan, Erik, Nimma & Mark. Nimma was sent home because she oversalted it so much it was inedible
