J-Park - Little OG - tribute to Oscar Grant, killed in Oakland by BART police.

Oscar Grant was shot dead by BART officer Johannes Mehserle on January 1, 2009 at the Fruitvale BART station in Oakland, California. When video of the shooting appeared on local news, the apparent brutality led to protests and riots in downtown Oakland. Mehserle was later arrested and charged with murder.

This video was shot in Palma Ceia Park in Hayward, CA near Oscar Grant's house. Oscar used to shoot basketball there and hang out by the bleachers.

they had to move the cops trial out of the area that the murder happened in, in hopes to get a non biased jury for trial.

law enforcement agencies need to do a hell of alot better training. i know that everyone is capable of making mistakes, but these cops in charge of public safety are supposed to be intelligent and trained enough to handle high stress situations and to know a lethal weapon from a non lethal. i hope that cop gets life at least. i never met oscar personally, but i know some folks who did. rip. FUCK BART COPS.
