I've done the exact same thing... here, she is absolutely divine. There's a certain smokey, rugged class to her voice in this performance, how beautiful and seemingly effortless. 3:31, I could swear I'm listening to Dinah Washington, her voice has that bluesy poignancy to it, that's both vibrant and confident. I wouldn't call it an "Ella Fitzgerald cover". It's a George & Ira Gershwin song which has been interpreted & reinterpreted bay many different artists. It's part of the American Songbook repertory. "Cover" is more of a rock n' roll term. Most rock songs are sung by the artist who writes them; occasionally another group comes around and covers someone else's work.

No biggie.

Amy does a great job with this song. Had she lived longer, she'd have recorded aneven better version.

@inasexymood: I couldn't agree with you more. They over kill on the belting and after a while it can become annoying. Also they do emulate too much and very few of them are original these days. Most of them are always trying to sound like some artist before them. To me the true measure of someone's gift is when you can take a song that has been done by other artist and make it your own.
