I have some sealer which was used on my trailer and it looks about like the one's you have there which leaves the wood looking gray and I have to get another brand which is better.

Great video! Thank you so much for this test... I was surprised by the results of the 2nd and 3rd sealers. Love your shirt... and your view of the lake??? Oh my goodness, it's absolutely gorgeous there. It looks very calm and peaceful. Great to see more videos from you. Big hugs to you and your family!

Where are you at with your 2011 spring deck/ pier project?
I too have a cedar pier that I seem to be messing with every year. I started out with a semi-tansparent latex, which failed, so I stripped it & went to Cabot Oil. That failed also so I then stripped it & went to Flood CWF-Oil. The Flood CWF worked well on some other decks, but the mildew killed it on my pier, so now I am stripping it again and contemplating using the Defy Brand.
I would really be interested in it's performance

@skibumpmc I just started a year-long test with just about every major brand. Will have results next Memorial Day. The small Defy spot from last year is holding up well.

@dav1099 We have a saying up here: Life is hard at the lake house. It's hard to concentrate on a task.
