BlankBlood Plus is another ryona "mini-game" within the three "game" set (Milia Wars, Zanarabi, and BlankBlood Plus) and a variation of the original BlankBlood (Blank Blood). The triple pack (Which is titled "Ryonage no Kanzume" or りょなげの缶詰) also came with a complimentary Gallery application which provided various artwork for fans. For all intents and purposes, it's inferior to the original BlankBlood; one of two playable characters from the original, Nana / 奈々, is absent, and it's just a ultra-repetitive run down the same corridor except the enemies get a little tougher each time. To be blunt, it's quite terrible really, even if the game is omake-related or not.

While I more or less stated what the game is like in a nutshell, I'll explain a little more. Playing as Ryo(u)ko from the previous BB, you go from left to right fighting a few familiar adversaries from the original game. She has limited abilities (and doesn't appear to get any new skills like in the previous game), can slowly heal over time, and can break free from enemy capture. At the end of each level is a treasure box (a homage to the original,. though some of the treasures served more of a purpose in that game), where you can get a positive or negative item from a roulette wheel which has an instant or temporary effect. You also have a timer which, when it runs out, starts running up "negative" time. You don't die when this happens, but you lose points at the end of a level instead of gain them. The game has a few simple vore CGs that are "rewarded" to you when you die against enemies a certain way... but you can just as easily go in one of the game folders and view them that way.

I don't know if the game ends (I got seriously bored after B12), but it's not a good game and seems unusually high on system specs... my computers can barerly run the game at 60FPS in 16bit color mode, but can run far more advanced games easily in 32bit color mode so... yeah. Here's a video of the first few floors.

  • where did you download this?

  • @colonel24567 I bought it from the link provided on D-Gate's website, though with all the English and Japanese titles presented in the video, I doubt finding the game will be very hard.

  • @Vysethedetermined2 question, to buy the download i must first input credit card number and it will let me download right? or is it a bit mor complicated then that?

  • @colonel24567 Yes; you click the link, click the cart button or such; input all your information (name, telephone #, bank card #, etc.) and another page will ask you to verify the info you put in. Once you click the submit button, it will verify your card # and you will go to a page with a download link. If you aren't from Japan, you will have to pay a very small additional charge (a TRANS FEE or something); it's similar to tax. The downloads last seven days, but permanently if you're a member.

  • @colonel24567 I also found it easier to use a "Yen to USD or other" currency convertor to figure out how much the game itself costs and I usually use google toolbar to translate all the Japanese to make everything easy to understand (though it's seldom a problem for me anyway since I know some Japanese). I think you can just copy terms and babelfish them too if you don't have google toolbar.

  • your personcom is fast enough, I can not even get a moving picture on mine if I run BB with a screen capturing device...anyway, so what happen at the end?

(clearly saki did not make this, this is kinda simple...)

  • @AnimeTeikoku I don't know if there is an ending; I played to B12 before getting bored with the game, as it seemed to just keep repeating the same level over and over with slightly higher difficulty. I may fire it up again at some point, but I'm just not motivated enough.

  • @LashSB yes I proably will stop thinking about it now

  • @stickks9875

    You get eaten

    Satisfied?

  • @lashsb that not I really meant (wink wink)

  • @stickks9875

Having played the original Blank Blood, but not this version, what usually happens is you struggle with whatever hit you, and you rapidly mash buttons to escape their grasp.

This could serve as multiple purposes, as to:

Lessen damage and escape faster or,

    Escape an 'insta-death' grab.

I can't say for sure what happens in this game, though, since I haven't touched it. Yet.

  • @Vysethedetermined2 alright, thanks a ton.
