At Seeducation (http://www.seeducation.org), we believe in the power of education... and that it does not make sense to keep using concepts like the placebo education, so well explained by Rory Sutherland. Getting in £23,000 debt for 3 years of studies and not having learned any useful professional skills for the 21st century is unacceptable... especially when the government has pumped over £607,000,000,000 (and there isn't too many zeros... we are talking about billions!), we believe the result should be better.

http://www.ted.com Advertising adds value to a product by changing our perception, rather than the product itself. Rory Sutherland makes the daring assertion that a change in perceived value can be just as satisfying as what we consider real value -- and his conclusion has interesting consequences for how we look at life.
